22nd-23rd & 24th, The 2nd annual “Wild Western Festival-History Meets Hollywood” at Pioneer Village.
30th, Civil War encampments and reenactments at the Dead Horse Ranch State Park, Cottonwood, Arizona. (Maximum Effort) This is a new event and should be a well deserved brake from the Valley Heat.
ACWC monthly meeting for October will be at Dead Horse Ranch on Saturday Evening.

1st, Final day of Civil War weekend at Dead Horse State Park, Cottonwood, Arizona. (Maximum Effort)
14th & 15th, Fort Verde Days. (This event is a Indian event and your Civil War period uniforms are acceptable.) One good advantage to the event is the cooler weather.
21st-22nd & 23rd, Annual Fresno Civil War event. This is a Big California event with has a excellent Battlefield and a cool climate. Also, a great chance to educate the youth of the History of the American Civil War, which will be on Friday. Being from the Arizona region you will have a the chance to share a little history on the “Civil War in the Southwest”. We, strongly suggest that you proved as much information to the public including the web-page www.arizonacivilwar.com so that we may share Arizona History.
28th & 29th, Southwest Invitational Civil War event at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park , at Bonnie Springs near Las Vegas, Nevada. For directions click on the link and enter Spring Mountian Ranch State Park. (www.mapquest.com) This is a new event which should be a exciting time. The event holds Battles each day, along with Civil War encampments and Civilian presentations. Civil War guests include Presidents Abraham Lincoln and President Davis of the C.S.A. along with General Grant and General Lee. Entertainment from the Spencer & Jackson Theatrical Troupe. (Maximum Effort)
