February 26 - 28 - Socorro, New Mexico
This event will include a battle down the streets of Socorro and a battle at the event site where fortifications are constructed. We want to have a good showing for Company A. I am not aware of Registration forms yet. I will see if Company A will allow us to join their mess . . . . HOWEVER if they allow us to join in, we will need a confirmation you will attend. Any 'no-shows' or people who change their mind within 10 days of the event will have to pay for the food bought in preparation for your attendance. The amount we normally have to pay is relatively small, and all those involved in the company mess have to be a part of company chores for cooking or cleaning. I attended this event last year and this is an awesome event. We need to form car-pools to share the driving and reduce the driving expense.
March 2010
March 13 &14, 2010 - Picacho Peak State Park
As it stands now, the event is on and our gallant Captain will be overall Federal Commander. We expect a good turnout from Company A for this event. This is our maximum effort event, and we expect to have the best drilled and largest unit in the field. Relive the Civil War in the Southwest, as the North and the South clash in this Final historic Battle at the Picacho Peak State Park. This event is one of our own treasurers here in Arizona. Hope to see you on the Battlefield, two Battles are scheduled for both days. Food and Sulters will be present at this event. God Bless the Union. If you would like to join us please complete the New Member email, or if you wish simply send your request to 1st Sgt. Michael Cynecki, at the Email Link below.
